Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael

JNF Partners

One of Israel's founding national institutions, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (KKL) was established in 1901 at the Fifth Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland, and spearheaded the efforts to restore the Jewish People to their ancient homeland. Today, KKL has broadened its mission to care for the land of Israel and improve the quality of life for all its people. KKL is JNF’s primary agent in Israel. Through this partnership, JNF supports important projects such as reservoirs, river restoration, afforestation, parks and playgrounds, agricultural research and historic sites like the Ammunition Hill Museum, the symbol of the re-unification of Jerusalem during the Six Day War.
