The Blue Box is a symbol of JNF and its efforts to develop the land, plant parks and forests, prepare the ground for communities and agriculture, and build roads and water reservoirs. It is a symbol of the bond between people and country. It is also a vehicle for educating youngsters and involving them in these efforts in order to foster their identification with the Zionist
enterprise and the State of Israel. Click here to order a FREE special Collector’s Edition JNF Blue Box.

When you create a Children's Memory Garden, you are asking your friends, relatives, teachers and synagogue members to help you establish a Garden of trees in Israel. The program was started in April 2002 by an 11 year old girl named Leslie Goldberg in Houston, Texas who had lost her Mom when she was just 7 years old. As her Bat Mitzvah project, Leslie created the program by creating her own materials that she sent out to all her family and friends. The idea was to have everyone make a gift of a number of trees towards the memory of her departed Mother. By her Bat Mitzvah in March 2004, she had raised over $6,400, and was presented with a beautiful plaque - while a marker was created in Israel to memorialize her dear Mother.
