Ma'alot: Taking Steps Towards Raising Israel Awareness

Jewish National Fund and Nefesh B’Nefesh are offering micro-grants for synagogue Israel programming for the 2021 grant cycle. Grants are available for programs that will take place between August 2021 and May 2022. This is a great opportunity for your congregation and its membership to receive funds for increasing Israel programming in your community. Please complete this form as completely as possible.

The Ma’alot Microgrant Review Committee meets periodically to review all applications for the grant. The goal of the grants is to strengthen connections between synagogues and Israel, through partnership with JNF and Nefesh B’Nefesh. We encourage you develop creative programs that will foster a meaningful relationship between any population in your community with the State of Israel. Please read the following suggestions/guidance below to ensure a successful application.

As this is a competitive grant with a limited pool of money, only serious applications for fully developed programs that can demonstrate successful outcomes for strengthening ties with Israel and the partnering agencies will be considered.
