Jewish National Fund

Welcome to My Personal Page

Hello Friends!

If you've taken the time to click the link that brought you here and are reading this sentence, I already owe you a big toda raba (thank you). It really means a great deal knowing that there's a wonderful community of friends and family willing to help me reach my goal. I'll do my best to keep it short and simple: My goal is to raise a minimum of $1,500 within these next few months for a cause that I'm really passionate about. The Alternative Break trip is a program sponsored through JNF (Jewish National Fund) where young Jewish adults are given the opportunity to give back to Israel in the form of community service, and all of the money that I raise will go towards the Blueprint Negev campaign.

In a nutshell, the Blueprint Negev campaign is a project dedicated towards preserving, strengthening, and improving the many communities living around the Negev Desert in Israel (i.e. community development, environmental issues, water treatment, education, etc. You can learn more about the blueprint here: http://www.jnf.org/work-we-do/blueprint-negev/). If I am able to meet my goal of $1,500 it means that your contributions, however big or small, will be going towards something that is making a tremendous difference, and I would be traveling to Israel over my spring break and doing my part in helping out the various communities in southern Israel. This is more than just a trip to Israel, it's a chance for me to give back to my homeland and work on something I'm trully passionate about. If you'd like to gift me with a generous donation, you can do that straight through this fundraising page or contact me directly.

I would also like to mention that I'm making hand-made tie dye bandanas and shirts, a certain hobby that I'm very fond of, in order to help me gain donations. The deal I have is this: if you are kind enough to donate to my fund, you will receive one of my tie-dye creations as a thank you for your gift. If there is a specific color or pattern that you would prefer, just e-mail me and let me know and I'll make it for you:)

I don't have much time until the trip, which takes off March 1st, and it's on a first come first serve basis-- whoever reaches the fundraising goal first gets a spot on the trip. So, please take time some time to consider a donation, it would be greatly appreciated! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to e-mail me at: emma.levich@gmail.com.

Thank you,

~Emma
