Support Israel and Danielle's Volunteer Mission

As a 15-year-old girl, I stood at the Western Wall for the first time, overwhelmed with emotion. I slept under the stars in a Bedouin tent in the desert, hiked up Mount Masada to watch the sun rise over the Dead Sea, and fell in love with the land of Israel.

In my senior year of high school, I returned to Israel after visiting Poland, where I stood in gas chambers, the walls stained blue from exposure to Zyklon-B gas, and walked through halls lined with mountains of faded, worn shoes. The meaning of Israel, the Jewish homeland, took on an entirely new significance to me.

Now, in my third year at the University of South Florida, I have an incredible opportunity to connect with the land and people of Israel on a deeper level. As part of the Jewish National Fund’s Alternative Break program, I will spend my week-long spring break volunteering in the Negev, working on a sustainable development project.

In order to participate, I have committed to raising at least $1,500 to support JNF’s groundbreaking and innovative work. Please help me reach this goal and enable me to take part in this meaningful journey.

I appreciate your support and look forward to sharing this experience with you.
