Seth Friedlander's bar mitzvah project

Lotem makes nature walks and outdoor activities more accessible for people who are blind or in wheelchairs or have other disabilities.

I have chosen raising money for LOTEM as my bar mitzvah project.

For the first time, JNF will be putting together a team in the annual Jerusalem Marathon which will take place on March 21st.  JNF partner organization LOTEM- Making Nature Accessible will have a delegation as part of the JNF team.  LOTEM’s delegation will be led by 20 year old Raz Rutman who will be participating in the 800m accessible route.  Raz became paralyzed after he was injured in a car accident when he was 8 years old.  11 years later, he decided to do his national service with LOTEM to give back to this organization that enabled him to return to his favorite hiking trails after his injury.

Raz will be "running" on behalf of JNF and LOTEM, so that together these two organizations can continue to bring people with special needs closer to nature and the beautiful Land of Israel. Join me in donating to Raz and helping all people like him.

Thank You,
Seth
