Machane TBA Joins with JNF to Raise Funds for LOTEM

Dear Machane TBA Families,

We are excited to tell you about a special program that we hosted at our school on Sunday, February 23rd. Our students learned about a very special nature park project in Israel called LOTEM. LOTEM is a fully accessible nature park which is visited by students and adults of all abilities. Together with JNF educator Anne Greenspoon, our students learned from classical Jewish texts about inclusion and they participated in activities which simulate various physical challenges that face many people every day of their lives.

We are pleased that the school has provided a gift to the LOTEM project but we also want to encourage families to help support this project by considering your own gift.

Jewish National Fund began as a dream in 1901 to reestablish a homeland in Israel for Jewish people everywhere.  In the years since, JNF has made the dream a reality by greening the desert with millions of trees, building thousands of parks, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel's water supply, helping develop innovative arid-agriculture techniques, and educating both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism.

Any donation that you make is tax-deductible.
Thank you!
