Jewish National Fund

Welcome to My Personal Page

Dear Friends and Family,

If you know me well enough, you would know that not a day goes by without me thinking how I can give back to others. Now that the "Bash for SACH (Save a Child's Heart)" fundraising event is over, I'm thinking-- what can I do next? How else can I help another person/organization in the world today?

Annually, I usually commit my time to Relay for Life benefitting the American Cancer Society. However this year, I have an amazing opportunity to volunteer in Israel and raise money for Jewish National Fund through their Alternative Spring Break program. It's been a little over three years since one of the worst tragedies in the history of the state of Israel, the Carmel fire (near the city of Haifa), which took the lives of 44 people. Monies raised will go towards JNF’s Operation Carmel Renewal to help rebuild Northern Israel from the devastating December 2010 fire.

I am so excited to be joining other young adults for a week of community service and connect to the land and people of Israel in such a meaningful way.

As part of my participation, I have committed to raising at least $1,500 to support JNF’s groundbreaking and innovative work to develop the land of Israel through a variety of multifaceted initiatives from sustainable development projects like the one I will be working on my Alternative Break.

Together we are making a difference each and every day!!! Today is a time to reflect and remember. To remember the ones who have lost their lives. To reflect on what we have done and on what we still can do. I greatly appreciate your support of my participation and of Jewish people everywhere.

Thanks again!
