Noah Stein Barmitzvah Project

Dear Family and Friends

As you know I will be celebrating my barmitzvah in Israel in August. As part of my mitzvah project I will be raising funds for the Jewish National Fund.

As many of you know I am passionate about sports. I have therefore chosen to raise funds that will go to support purchasing equipment for the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center. JNF built the center in response to continual rocket attacks in the city of Sderot to provide the city’s 3,000 youth with a safe place to have fun, connect with friends, enjoy stimulating classes, and be children. Support is still needed to purchase new equipment and to keep the center going for all the kids of the region.

I will also be working as a soccer referee for the spring soccer session at Lower Merion Soccer Club and will be donating my earnings to this effort.

As part of the fundraiser I will also have to opportunity to be linked to a child who perished in the Holocaust at the hands of the Nazis and did not have the opportunity to have a barmitzvah. A glass tile with both our names will be embedded into the remembrance  wall at Jerusalem’s American Independence Park. This will allow me to help continue the circle of life and memorialize this child.

I'm raising funds to help ensure that the important work of JNF continues and I hope I can count on your support.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. The donation is tax-deductible.

Thank you!

Noah
