ABOUT ALTERNATIVE WINTER BREAK

Are you ready to go back to Israel? Join JNF for an unforgettable week of volunteering and fun!

JNF’s Alternative Break in Israel is a week-long service trip for Jewish college students and young adults ages 18-24 to volunteer in Israel. This exciting trip allows its participants to make a personal impact in Israel.

2017 volunteering opportunities:

Alternative Winter Break trips to Southern Israel will take place on the following dates:
December 24, 2016 - January 1, 2017
December 30, 2016 - January 7, 2017

Using an easy, online fundraising platform to communicate by email and social media to family and friends, participants are responsible for raising a minimum of $950 for JNF projects. All funds raised will go directly toward JNF's Blueprint Negev campaign in the South of Israel. Blueprint Negev supports Israel's newest generation of pioneers in developing, inhabiting and preserving the Negev Desert. Once the money is raised, your trip is covered by generous JNF donors - your Israel flight, land travel and the program are at no cost to you. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip domestic transportation to John F. Kennedy airport in New York City.
