(Middle School Students)

When you join JNF Green Corps, you can get involved in activities that make a difference in the global environment. You can help organize a club within your school, synagogue or youth group or find an existing club close to your home. Green Corps members are guided by an adult leader. They receive news about environmental activities through the JNF Green Log e-newsletter.

To join, students are invited by the group leader to register on-line and plant at least one tree in Israel for $18. Some things that members can do when they join are:

  • Plan and run projects: recycle, clean up parks
  • Raise funds for environmental programs in Israel with a car wash, bake sale, fun run
  • Create displays, skits and films about smart environmental choices
  • Make school, synagogue and/or home energy-efficient

Students will earn a dog tag (and a sense of satisfaction) for each project completed.

(High School Students)

Get involved with other high school students who care about the environment by joining JNF Green Team. You can help organize a club within your school, synagogue or youth group or find an existing club close to your home. When you join, you will receive news about environmental activities through the JNF Green Times e-newsletter, which has articles written by environmental experts and student reporters.

This is your opportunity to work with other students in planning and running projects to help the environment both locally and in Israel. You can teach others about smart environmental choices, plant and eat organic food and communicate with students in Israel.

To join, students are invited by the group leader to register on-line and plant at least one tree in Israel for $18. Students may also register as individuals.
